A Sub-Zero shop and nothing else

Sub-Zero Appliance Repair Seattle started in 2019 and has only ever repaired one make of refrigeration. We are independent of the manufacturer. That narrowness is the point: the cabinets, the controls and the ways they fail are familiar long before the grille comes off.

The work

Built-in refrigerators and freezers of every generation, integrated columns and drawers, undercounter units, ice makers and wine storage. The jobs run from a door gasket or a fan motor to a sealed system opened under gauges, and the diagnosis is done the same careful way whichever it turns out to be.

What we will not do

Give you a number over the phone for a fault nobody has seen. A guessed figure that changes on the day does more damage to trust than any repair can mend. We also will not open a cabinet before you have seen the written price, and we do not fit a universal part where the model calls for its own.

Parts

Every component that goes into a Sub-Zero we work on is a genuine or factory-approved part for that model — a door gasket, an evaporator fan, a control board, a water valve. We do not keep a counter and we do not sell parts over the phone for a Seattle address; what we do is identify the right part from the model and serial tag, quote it with the labour before anything is ordered, and fit it. If your model has been out of production long enough for a part to be difficult, we say so at the diagnosis rather than after.

How pricing works

One flat $89 pays for the visit and the complete diagnosis; approve the repair and those $89 are deducted from its price.

After the visit the figure depends on two things: which part failed, and how much of the kitchen stands between the technician and that part. Every service page prints the bands for its kind of work, starting with refrigerator repair. You are told the band first and the firm figure once the fault is proven.

Where we go

The whole of Seattle, north to south and from Magnolia to the lake, and twenty-three towns past the city line: north to Everett, east along the lake shore and out to the Snoqualmie Valley, south to Maple Valley. Each place has a page in the atlas of neighborhoods and towns, which names the appliance each page opens with.

Hours

Our technicians work 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days, and any visit is booked inside that window. The phone line never closes (24/7), so a cabinet that quits in the middle of the night can have its visit booked before morning.

Licensing

Licensing, bonding and insurance are all in place here, and the licence number is read out or written down for anyone who asks for it.
